P.S. Design is back at UTOPIC: your 1 of 1 piece, made at camp

Pablo Sala and P.S. Design return to UTOPIC III with their customisation workshop: one-of-one UTOPIC garments, the event merch reworked, and your own pieces transformed with charms, spikes, rivets and stencils.

If you're coming to UTOPIC, this is for you: P.S. Design is back at camp. Pablo Sala —dancer, choreographer and the creative mind behind P.S. Design and La Clave— is setting up his customisation workshop at UTOPIC III again this year, and he's just announced it with a reel.

What P.S. Design is

A Madrid studio that does three things: custom garments, event activations and live art. They make unique, one-of-one pieces, hand-painted and reworked. And they've been at UTOPIC before; hence the “we're back”.

What you'll be able to do at camp

  • Make your own one-of-one UTOPIC garment. A piece nobody else has.
  • Rework the event merch. Grab the UTOPIC piece and leave with it customised.
  • Bring your own clothes and transform them. Caps, pants, tees, hoodies, jackets… whatever you can think of.
  • Hardware, charms and stencils. This year they're bringing spikes, rivets, eyelets, charms and exclusive items so the piece is fully yours.

In the reel Pablo mentions prices from €10 for a one-of-one UTOPIC garment and from €5 to customise the event merch. Final prices are set by P.S. Design at the workshop itself.

Start thinking

His advice, and it's good: be clear about what goes in your suitcase. Decide now which pieces you want to bring and what you want done to them, because in one week of camp an unreasonable amount of 1 of 1 pieces is going to come out.

The camp vlogs

Pablo brought the camera to UTOPIC III and is posting one vlog a day on Instagram: the stand going up, the clothes coming out of suitcases, the pieces coming out of the workshop and the people passing through it. From day −1 to the last one, one every day.
