Who is responsible

The data controller is Francisco Javier Martin Duran · NIF ES40362836K · summercamp@utopicdance.com, organiser of UTOPIC Summer Dance Camp.

What we collect

What you give us: name, surname, email and, depending on the case, phone, Instagram, date of birth, size, who you'd like to share a bungalow with, travel times or comments.

Your purchase: what you bought, the amount, payment status and, for clothing, the delivery address. Your card details never pass through us: the payment gateway handles them.

Basic technical browsing data, such as device type or the pages you visit. Our statistics are our own and cookie-free: we count visits, pages, time, how far people scroll and where they click, anonymously (we don’t know who you are) and only to improve the site.

If you create your account after arriving from one of our ads, we note the name of that campaign on it (for example, “apps_prueba_2610”), to know which ads bring people in. Just the campaign name: nothing you did before creating the account.

Only if you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel collects which pages you visit and what you do on them (for example, whether you start a payment or join a list), linked to an identifier of your browser. The details are in the cookie policy.

With that same permission, when you create an account, start a trial or pay for a plan, we also tell Meta from our server (its Conversions API), with your email encrypted, so it isn't lost if your browser blocks it. Without permission nothing is sent.

What we use it for

To manage your registration, your place, your order and its delivery.

To answer you when you write, and to let you know if a place frees up and you're on the waiting list.

To meet our accounting and tax obligations.

If you accept it, to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show you UTOPIC ads.

We don't sell your data to anyone or pass it on for commercial purposes.

To know which ad campaigns work: we count how many accounts, trials and payments come from each one, without profiling anyone.

On what legal basis

Performance of the contract, when you buy a place, an add-on or an item.

Your consent, when you fill in a form, join the waiting list or the newsletter, or accept marketing cookies. You can withdraw it whenever you like.

Compliance with legal obligations, for invoicing.

Our legitimate interest in measuring our own campaigns, for the name of the campaign your account was created with. You can object by writing to us.

Who else sees it

Wix, which runs the shop, orders, tickets and accounts, as a data processor.

Netlify, which serves the pages.

The payment gateway that processes your purchase.

The courier, if you buy clothing: only what's needed to deliver it.

The campsite, only what's needed to manage your accommodation if you book it through us.

Meta Platforms Ireland, only if you accept marketing cookies: it receives the pixel data and is joint controller with us for collecting it.

Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

Outside Europe

Wix, Netlify and, if you accept marketing cookies, Meta may process data outside the European Economic Area. They rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which are the mechanisms provided for this.

How long we keep it

While we have a relationship with you and, after that, for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting records.

If you only joined the waiting list or the newsletter, until you ask us to delete you.

What you can demand

Access your data, correct it, delete it, object to processing, restrict it and ask for it to be ported.

To do so, write to summercamp@utopicdance.com saying what you want.

If you think we got it wrong, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Minors

Under-16s need consent from a parent or guardian and must be accompanied by an adult at the campsite. 16 and 17 year olds can come alone with that consent.
